Animations

This section is for helping you with setting up and using animations in your design.

The magic property - "animate"

We learned previously about object properties.
Adding animation is as simple as using the animate property.

📘

And the duration property in the shot config that was always kept 1000 till now for images now needs to be more than 1000, it depends how long you want your animation/video to be!

And like any other property, they can be applied to images, text, shapes, literally any object! - Yay to animate

You can animate any property by using something as simple as:

      "animate": [
        {
          "comment": "move to the right",
          "from": 100,
          "to": 700,
          "attribute": "position.x",
          "start": 0,
          "duration": 1500
        }
      ]

and to add more animations to the same object, just add more items to the animate array (or list if you're a Pythonista! :wink: ) -

[
        {
          "comment": "move to the  right",
          "from": 100,
          "to": 700,
          "attribute": "position.x",
          "start": 0,
          "duration": 1500
        },
        {
          "comment": "move left",
          "from": 500,
          "to": 200,
          "attribute": "position.x",
          "start": 1500,
          "duration": 2500
        }
      ]

it's that easy to animate anything!
